Oh what a year it has been! One year ago we couldn't have anyone hang out in our store (as it was physically impossible to socially distance while in our little 600 sq foot shop). Since then vaccines have become available, we have nailed our delivery and curb side pick up game, and we moved!!! The new store location has 2,400 square feet (approximately)!!! We have a designated D&D room! We can have 3 (or more!) 6 foot tables up AND people can still browse our shelves! Now that we have moved, everyone can see the faces of our board games and books. Now we are starting to get a feel for what people actually are interested in buying, and we can try to supply those things. (For example, Catan! We received in 4 copies on a Monday at 1 pm, and by Tuesday at 1 pm we had sold 3 of them. by Wednesday at 1 pm we were sold out!)
Contact us with games you like or have heard of!
That is the question. When we hear that it is record breaking temperatures (0 degrees!!!! That is insane! The coldest I've ever been in, prior to this, was 14 back in 2005 or so) and a HUGE amount of snow, we have to decide: Should we open the store, because lots of people live in the area and may be coming down, anyway, or do we close the store, because we don't want anyone getting in their car and getting into a car wreck, just because they want the newest expansion of Cards Against Humanity. Today, we elected to play it safe and to close.
what could possibly be more nerdy than getting excited about a new computer so that you can work on a web page, and hopefully get more information out to people? Not much! LOL
